1. Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project and allocated slot. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to handover and launch.
Once a project slot has been offered, the deposit must be paid within 24 hours to secure your booking.

2. Timelines
All timelines provided are estimates. While I always aim to deliver within the agreed timeframe, projects may occasionally run over due to scope, feedback, or communication delays. I will always keep you informed throughout the process.

3. Revisions
Each project includes two rounds of revisions. Any additional revisions or changes beyond this will be subject to additional charges.

4. Scope of Work
All work included in your project will be clearly outlined during onboarding. Any work outside of this scope — including additional pages, features, integrations, or copywriting — will be quoted and charged separately.

5. Client Responsibilities & Delays
You are responsible for providing all required content, feedback, and communication in a timely manner.
If communication or content is delayed:

• After three contact attempts, the project will be paused for 7 days

• If no response is received, the project will be rescheduled

• A restart fee may be required to continue
   

6. Access & Permissions
To complete your project, I must be added as a contributor to your website with full edit permissions.
If access is removed at any stage, the project may be paused and Section 5 will apply.

7. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All work created by Belle Design Studio remains its intellectual property until full payment has been received.
Upon final payment, ownership of the final website or design is transferred to you.
Belle Design Studio reserves the right to:

• Showcase completed work within portfolios and marketing material

• Reuse design elements, structures, and non-exclusive assets
   

8. Refunds & Cancellations
The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
If a project is cancelled by you after work has commenced, the remaining balance will still be payable.
If, for any reason, I am unable to complete the project, your deposit will be refunded in full.

9. Launch & Handover
Handover takes place once you are happy with the final design.
At this stage:

• Your website will be published

• A brief walkthrough will be provided

Following launch, 14 days of support is included.
Additional training (such as managing your website or making edits) can be booked separately.

10. Platforms & Third-Party Fees
Belle Design Studio is not responsible for any external costs associated with your website, including platforms such as Wix, domain providers, or third-party tools.
I am happy to guide you through setup where needed. Additional in depth training or support may be charged separately.

11. Liability
Belle Design Studio is not responsible for:

• Platform outages or technical issues

• Third-party tools or integrations

• Any loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from website use or downtime
   

12. Content Responsibility
Any content provided by you, including images, text, or branding, remains your responsibility.
You confirm that you have the rights or permission to use any content supplied.

13. Communication
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Response time is typically within 24 hours during working days.
Preferred communication methods are WhatsApp Business or email for all project-related enquiries.

14. Ongoing Services (Subscriptions)
For any ongoing or subscription-based services:

• Payment is required monthly in advance

• Includes: small updates such as image or copy changes, price updates, and minor aesthetic tweaks

• Does not include: new pages, new sections, or major design/branding changes — these will be quoted separately

If you wish to cancel an ongoing service, a minimum of one month’s notice is required.
Late payments may result in services being paused until payment is received.
